My name is Amanda. I'm a mom, a wife and a nurse. I'm also a runner, a CrossFitter and a yogi.
I have lost 115 pounds through diet and exercise. At my heaviest I weighed upwards of 260 pounds. After my son was born I knew I needed to change my life and so my journey began.
My journey started with a lot of time on the spin bike, the elliptical and the treadmill. Which I've now traded in for the streets, the trails, the box and the yoga studio. My diet has also evolved from doing Weight Watchers counting calories/points, to being a vegetarian and currently to a Paleo/Primal Lifestyle.
It's all about self-experimentation. I am my own science experiment, constantly changing and evolving to find how my body works and runs most efficiently.
This blog melds my two passions in life, exercise and cooking, as I continue my journey of healthy living and raising a family.
